2025-2026 Season

Symphony Concert Hall Info & Directions

Due to the renovations of the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center, the NBSO will begin the 2025-26 season at Kilburn Event Center on October 19, continuing at Bronspiegel Auditorium, New Bedford High School on December 14, and returning to The New Z in February!

Kilburn Event Center

Located on the 3rd floor of Kilburn Mill at 127 W Rodney French Blvd, New Bedford, MA, Kilburn Event Center offers a beautiful concert space overlooking Buzzards Bay. A full cash bar will be available and may be enjoyed in the hall before or during the concert.  Credit, debit, and cash accepted.

The venue is fully accessible. Please contact the Zeiterion Box Office at 508-994-2900 to purchase accessible tickets and arrange for assistance.

Free parking is available on the streets and in the lot at the south end of the building.

Bronspiegel Auditorium

Bronspiegel Auditorium is at New Bedford High School, 230 Hathaway Boulevard, New Bedford, MA. A concession selling water, soda, and snacks will be available in the lobby. Debit and credit cards are the only accepted form of payment – no cash. Please note that water is the only item allowed inside the auditorium.

The venue is fully accessible. Wheelchair and companion seating are located in rows BB and DD of the Orchestra Center section, but you may also request seating behind Row S on the main floor. Please call 508-994-2900 to purchase accessible tickets and arrange for assistance. Note: Row A of the mezzanine section is 2 steps up from the main floor. Each row behind row A has an additional 2 steps up with no railings. See below for a photo and link to the seat map.

Free parking in all parking lots in front of the school and across the street at Keith Middle School. Vehicles with Handicap plates or placards may park in “the loop” at the entrance to the auditorium.

Please note: No food or beverages are allowed inside Bronspiegel auditorium. Smoking is not allowed on school grounds.

Zeiterion Performing Arts Center

This historic 1200-seat hall is located at 684 Purchase Street, New Bedford, Massachusetts. The “New Z” will dazzle guests with a renovated lobby, brand new public spaces and bars, and a transformed performance hall! Click here for an example of the seat map. Free parking is available on the streets after 5 pm or in the Zeiterion Parking Garage for a fee. Details will be added here prior to the NBSO returning to The Z.

Tickets:
The Zeiterion Box Office will continue to handle ticketing for NBSO concerts. They can be reached at 508-994-2900. Phone and in-person Box Office hours may be found here. The location of the Box Office for the duration of the renovations will be the lobby of the DeMello International Center, 128 Union Street, New Bedford, MA 02740. Individual concert tickets purchased online or by phone will be emailed to you and will be scanned at the door upon arrival at the event. On concert nights, box office personnel will be on-site and available an hour and a half prior to performances. Please note that cash will not be accepted at the venues –  tickets must be purchased with a credit or debit card. Theater doors open one-half hour prior to performances.

Our recommended route to New Bedford High School from 195:
Take route 140 South, turn left on Route 6, left on Rockdale Ave, and right on Hathaway Boulevard.

Handicap parking spaces and the drop-off area are located on the loop.
You may enter and exit through the auditorium or gymnasium doors.

Chamber Music Venues

 

St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church

Saturday concerts take place at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church, 124 Front Street, Marion, MA 02738 (on the corner of Front and South streets). Parking is available on South Street as well as in the lot located on the right on Spring Street.

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church

Sunday concerts take place at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 351 Elm Street, South Dartmouth, MA 02748. Parking is available on Elm Street as well as in the lot located to the right of the Church, accessible from Elm Street.
