If you have tickets for our May 23 concert, you have three options: donation, exchange, or refund. Kalevi Aho: “Sieidi” Percussion Concerto
Jean Sibelius: Symphony No. 5
Chicago Symphony’s principal percussionist, Cynthia Yeh, demonstrates her astonishing mastery in Kalevi Aho’s Percussion Concerto. The orchestra opens this all-Finnish concert with Lotta Wennakoski’s intangible music and closes with Sibelius’s majestic Fifth Symphony in what is bound to be an unforgettable season finale.
