Are You New to the New Bedford Symphony?

If you have never been to an NBSO concert before and have any questions, please contact us and we will be happy to help. You can reach us at (508) 999-6276 or info@nbsymphony.org.

A Note on Kids Being Kids

All school aged children are welcome to attend our concerts. We know that noisy or disruptive behavior may sometimes happen (hey, we’re parents too!) If that situation ever arises, please feel free to bring your child to the lobby or to the Penler Space adjacent to the lobby. You should also feel free to stay only for the first half of the concert if you think that will be better for your child. The Classical Community program is dedicated to building a community of music today and for generations to come, so we very much want families to have the wonderful experience of a symphony orchestra concert. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us at (508) 999-6276 or by email. See you at the Symphony!

Your donations make possible our innovative educational programs.

Our educational programs serve over 25,000 children a year, and we are recognized nationally for our innovative approach and high impact. We all know of the documented benefits of children learning music, and we firmly believe that by introducing classical music to a new generation of students through our programs, we are helping them to make critical connections between music and their everyday lives, making their NBSO experience enriching on multiple levels.
