Roberta Kennedy
Director of Concert Operations
Roberta joined the NBSO administration in 2021 after a 35-year career with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, where she held a variety of rewarding and engaging management positions and enjoyed the great fortune of listening to world-class performers and concerts along the way. While her time at the BSO was deeply fulfilling, Roberta was drawn to artistic administration, a goal she is thrilled to have realized.
In her current role, Roberta oversees the planning and execution of all performance production details. She leads the Production team, working closely with the Personnel Manager and Orchestra Librarian, and supports the artistic needs of Maestro Dinur and NBSO musicians. During rehearsals and concerts, Roberta can be found in the wings with her team, thoughtfully supporting every detail while happily soaking in the music.
Roberta earned her Bachelor of Music in Performance from the Boston Conservatory of Music and enjoys playing the flute at home. She is the proud parent of two adult children and, with her husband, loves planning family excursions and shared experiences.
