Is Dvořák’s New World Symphony the first truly “American” music in the classical repertoire, or is it a piece longing for the “Old World”? Come decide for yourself in this American-inspired program featuring a big band in Bernstein’s Prelude, Fugue and Riffs, and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue played and conducted from the piano by NBSO Music Director, Yaniv Dinur.
